The contract covers the manufacturing design review, fabrication, assembly, testing and delivery of a switchable beam dump for radiation and personnel protection at FAIR. It includes mechanical and vacuum components, drive system, sensors, controls, documentation, as well as Factory and Site Acceptance Tests, with optional external frame and installation services.
