Polished plates for pillow-seal vacuum seals, Hessen - Frist 19.08.2026
The contract calls for the manufacture of 16 stainless-steel vacuum sealing plates, flat and highly polished, in two shapes (730 mm diameter round and 1430 mm racetrack), with a central aperture for the beam pipe. The plates will be used as polished surfaces for pillow-seal vacuum seals in the Super-FRS beamline at the FAIR accelerator facility.
