The project involves the turnkey engineering, procurement and construction of a 10 MW / 20 MWh AC‑coupled battery energy storage system using lithium‑ion (or sodium‑ion) technology, to be connected to the public grid at Mosbach. The BESS will deliver up to 10 MW for 2–3 hours and participate in frequency and market services.
